STEVI DOURAS

My name is Stevi Douras.

I am a lawyer in our WorkCover department working predominantly on TAC cases.

Whilst studying law, I obtained hands-on experience and a breadth of valuable knowledge working in personal injury and family law. I also have a Bachelor of Journalism and a passion for the written word, which makes the research, writing and analysis side of the law super interesting to me.

My main motivation is simply this; to provide meticulous advice and guide our clients through the complexities of legal processes with the aim of achieving the best and fairest outcome possible. That best outcome demands clear communication and client focus. It requires an unwavering attention to detail, a complete understanding of the individual case at hand, the issues within it and the relevant law applicable. It requires the ability to problem solve effectively and be prepared even for the unexpected. No two cases are the same and no two days in Court are the same so it can be challenging, but I love that.

There’s something special about being a part of the team here at Wisewould Mahony. I get to come in … marvel at the resilient plant in my office… and work with exceptionally intelligent and down to earth people who are always up for having a good chat and a laugh. I love that too.
