I joined Wisewould Mahony in November 2013, after a career change from the arts and public sector.
In the last several years, I consider myself fortunate to have practised in a few different areas of the law. Initially based in Commercial Litigation, I acted in a wide array of matters and spent my early years as a lawyer being part of a team working on a complex cross-jurisdictional commercial case. I have also assisted Family Law clients with Property Settlements, Financial Agreements, as well as with Parenting and Children’s Issues.
In 2017, I started in Recoveries, acting for WorkSafe Victoria in actions against third parties who negligently cause workplace injuries. My work is interesting and varied, and I find it rewarding to know it has an important role in sustaining the WorkCover Scheme. I try to bring a commercial and pragmatic approach to my practice, while also striving for best results for the client.
I value the sense of collegiality at Wisewoulds and the fact that people here genuinely enjoy what they do, but at the same time, don’t take themselves too seriously.
