I joined Wisewould Mahony in November 2013, after a career change from the Arts and public sector to fulfil a long-held desire to complete a law degree.
I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to work in a few different areas of the law. Initially based in Commercial Litigation, I cut my teeth as part of a team of ten lawyers and barristers acting in a five-year-long contractual dispute against the New Zealand Stock Exchange. I have also worked in Family Law, helping clients with Property Settlements, Financial Agreements, and Parenting and Children’s Issues.
Since 2017 I have represented the interests of WorkSafe Victoria in actions against entities whose negligence causes workplace injuries. It is rewarding to know that our work helps to maintain the health of the WorkCover scheme at a time when workplace safety is more important than ever.
My approach is rigorous and exacting. I also value pragmatism, but always with the best outcome for the client in mind.
