About me

My name is Grace Hwang and I am a lawyer in the Common Law team of the WorkCover department. I studied a Bachelor of Arts followed by the Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne. After gaining experience in a broad range of areas at a small firm, I joined Wisewould Mahony in order to pursue my passion for litigation and dispute resolution.

By nature I have always been a logical, inquisitive and (appropriately) argumentative type, who loves problem solving and overcoming challenges. At Wisewould Mahony I have ample opportunities to do this, as well as develop my skills. Every day I work with amazing lawyers who are leaders in their field, on interesting cases, and engage with numerous stakeholders. I am also driven by the belief that the work I do has an impact on the smooth running of a vital scheme for Victorian employers and employees.

Wisewould Mahony is a cohort of passionate and driven individuals, who are not only of the highest professional calibre but also genuinely fun and caring.  It’s truly a pleasure working at a firm that is so committed to its clients, each other and the work they do.
