About me

My name is Anna Plunkett and I am a lawyer in the WorkCover department. I predominantly deal with Serious Injury applications and Common Law damages proceedings.

Before I started at Wisewoulds I completed a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) at RMIT and then a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) at Monash University. I started at the firm as a trainee in 2015 and since then I’ve gained a lot of experience in WorkCover litigation. In our area, I believe the best outcomes are achieved by thoroughly assessing all the facts of the case, narrowing the issues in dispute and applying the relevant law. I try to approach my work in a logical, consistent and efficient manner.

My main professional driver is ultimately to try and achieve the best possible outcome for the client. I like being a lawyer because every case is different and the work is always challenging. WorkCover is particularly interesting because there’s a lot of opportunity to get out of the office, whether to inspect a worksite, interview a witness to an incident or to attend court.

The best thing about working at Wisewoulds is working with such a fun and supportive team of people.
