My name is Caitrin Davis and I practice WorkCover Common Law.
I have been doing this since 2015.
Before then I completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology and spent time at a think tank and an online newspaper. I joined Wisewould Mahony in 2013 while completing my Juris Doctor.
I became a lawyer because I was interested in how you preserve a legal system that is fair and equitable. We aim to do this in WorkCover; balancing the needs of workers and keeping the WorkCover scheme viable. It makes a job well done very satisfying.
Wisewould Mahony is an exceptional place to do this. We are focused on proving a professional but practical approach to legal problems. This means understanding a problem early and working hard to ensure the best outcome, either through negotiation or litigation.
It also means enjoying what you do and the people you do it with. Personal injury claims can be complex with lots of legal questions tied up in them but it is made easier by being surrounded by bright, engaged people who are always willing to provide a thoughtful ear. I could not think of a better place to work.
